the hotel offers a variety of hot springs to soak and relax in, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. the breakfast was delicious and homely, and the onsen was open 24 hours which was convenient. It's only a short stroll from the bus terminal and the most beautiful outside onsen in the Zao Onsen region.
Some of the rooms did not have shower heads which could have been more clearly communicated to customers.

Delicious meals with a variety of Japanese dishes. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere overlooking a Japanese garden and pond. Blissful and relaxing private outdoor onsen under trees
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The staff offered great hospitality, even providing parkas for the Okama caldera hike. the hotel is located very close to a beautiful shrine, nearby ski slopes, and the cable car to explore the fine views in the Zao highlands.
Not one thing to dislike, this hotel was a great spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of this city.

The onsen provided a great way to relax after a day of exploring the city. The 24-hour availability made it convenient and allowed us to enjoy the serene atmosphere at any time of the day. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options that were cooked to perfection. The location is also a plus, as it is close to popular tourist attractions and public transportation options, making it easy to get around the city.
The language barrier was a bit challenging, as some staff members did not speak English well, making communication difficult. It would have been helpful to have more information in English about the hotel amenities and surrounding area, as it would have made planning our itinerary easier.

The food was delicious and we enjoyed trying different Japanese dishes. the hot springs were a great relief after skiing all day. We liked that they had both public and private options available. the location was ideal, close to the ski lifts and rental shops.
Our room was very basic and the walls were thin, making it difficult to sleep at night. There was a lot of noise from other guests and we could hear everything happening in the hallway.
